Regenerative Agriculture Discussion Group

There is lots of buzz and discussion around regenerative agriculture/sustainable farming/biodynamic systems.  Whatever you want to call it, it is clear that we all need to try and farm in a more sustainable manner in order to increase biodiversity, improve water quality, protect our soils and store carbon whilst still producing enough food to feed an ever increasing population.

ELM Associates would like to set up an informal discussion group to look at how local farmers are implementing sustainable practices on their farms.  This may be a min-till system, herbal lays, bale grazing, cover cropping, smart technology or something else we’ve not even thought about.  The idea would be to meet quarterly (or whatever suits the group) and visit a local farm or project to look at and discuss a regenerative practice, share ideas and encourage collaboration.

If you would be interested in joining Cheshire’s first RegenAg Group then please get in touch: info@elmassociates.co.uk
