Next week, the ELM Associates team will set off on an epic India Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge, in aid of the AMMF cancer charity. We’ll be pedalling over 975km from Chennai on the east coast, over the mountains to Kochi on the west coast, over 10 non-stop days. We wanted to do something special to mark our fifth anniversary in business as ELM Associates, but also make a difference to an important cause. The AMMF charity supports those diagnosed with a not-so-rare bile duct cancer that is often diagnosed at advanced stages, and aims to not only support those diagnosed with information on treatment options, but also raise awareness to improve early detection. This month is cholangiocarcinoma awareness month and you may have seen some of the high profile faces of the condition promoting the charity in the media, including royal correspondent Katie Nichol, fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, and our friend and local lass Andrea Sheardown who is herself a survivor and who fundraises tirelessly for the AMMF charity.
We are fully funding our participating in this cycle journey ourselves, so your support with a donation will be greatly appreciated and will go 100% to the AMMF charity. You can do this on the Just Giving link here
